The HECTOR Screw HMS Locking Carabiner is a large, versatile pear-shaped carabiner designed for belaying, anchoring, rope access and work-at-height applications. With a high 30 kN major-axis strength and large 26 mm gate opening, it is particularly suitable for use as a central carabiner when building anchors.
Its pear-shaped HMS basket provides excellent rope handling and is suitable for belaying with a Münter hitch or other belay devices. The large basket and gate opening can accommodate larger anchor points and multiple slings, making the HECTOR a practical choice for technical rope work.
The hot-forged I-beam construction provides a strong, stiff and lightweight design, while the angled, snag-free Keylock nose enables smooth clipping and unclipping. The screw-locking sleeve features rough notches for easy operation, even when wearing gloves.
