Description
Singing Rock PITON A3 – Thin Crack Aid Climbing Piton
The Singing Rock PITON A3 is a professional-grade hardened steel piton designed specifically for thin rock cracks up to 3 mm wide. Built from durable Chrome-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) steel, this knifeblade-style piton is ideal for aid climbing, traditional climbing, mountaineering, first ascents, and technical rock protection placements. It is available in multiple lengths to suit different crack depths and climbing conditions.
Engineered for reliability in demanding alpine and climbing environments, the PITON A3 offers excellent penetration in narrow seams and thin cracks where standard protection cannot be placed. Its hardened steel construction provides high resistance to deformation during repeated placement and removal.
