- Ten points in contact with ice while you’re walking and twelve that bite into the slope during traverses.
The last two front points are Bi-angular to maintain bite when descending or traversing sideways. Even the soles of the most modern boots are perfectly covered. - Designed for ski touring, competitive ski mountaineering, classical mountaineering routes and for high altitude or distant expeditions where weight is the determining factor.

Grivel G12 Newmatic (W/AntiBott) Crampon
A classic 12-point crampon is designed for general mountaineering, alpinism, mixed ice and rock climbing, and moderate waterfall routes. The four points that are perpendicular to the crampon rails prevent shearing in soft snow and improve security while descending. The crampons are fully adjustable by hand, without tools and one size fits all.
The New-Matic plastic harness system is hinged from two front posts which retain the boot securely even if it has a shallow, worn front welt or overboots are being used.

Grivel G14 Cramp-O-Matic
A well-known system which relies on a nylon speed lever in the rear and a stainless steel front bale to hold the boot. Quick to put on, these bindings are perfect for plastic mountaineering boots that have a rigid sole and substantial heel and toe welts. The stainless steel safety strap, which was invented by Grivel, is permanently mounted on the front bale and prevents total loss of the crampon should it be forced off the boot.
